Fourth of July Weekend

Fourth of July weekend was a super busy, but a super fun weekend!  I think we packed in as much as we could during those three days...here is a quick overview!

Friday was the last day of Bible School at church.  That evening we had a program for all the kids that participated.  They sang the songs that they learned that week, got their certificate from their teacher and then had cookies and kool-aid after that.

This is Avery getting her certificate from Ms. Kalena.

This is where Oaks sat the ENTIRE time.  He refused to get up with his class and sing or get his certificate.

Saturday morning we went to the White Mills Day parade.  Avery and Oakley got to ride in the parade in a friends train that they pull behind a tractor.  They had so much fun and loved every minute of it!

Miss Jovie Rose watching the parade with us!

Lakelyn watching the Parade with her Nana and Papaw!  She loved it!!

Kyle riding his new dirt bike in the parade!

Sunday we spent the day on the river.  This has become an annual trip and this year I think we had 46 people with us.  We ended the trip with a cook-out at our house.  It was such a good time!!

Waiting for everyone to load and get on the river.

Just a few of the kayaks and canoes!

Monday we went to Jason parents annual cook-out to celebrate Jason's Dad's birthday and our nephew, Chandler's birthday.  The kids always have so much fun playing with their cousins and putting on a concert for us!

Kyle giving Oaks a piggy-back ride.

Lakelyn wants to sing too!  And yes, Avery and Oakley do wear their boots with everything and every chance they get!

Lakelyn clapping at Avery and Chandler dancing and singing!

And of course the 4th would not be complete without fireworks!

Our 4th of July was jam packed too. I think we were doing something every minute of every day. And I think we should keep the kayak trip ongoing every year. That was so much fun.
