The Girls

So, my very best friend is moving...to California!! Not just down the road or to a new town, all the way across country. What will I ever do without her here? I am so proud of her and excited for her but man am I going to miss her. Not only am I going to miss her but Avery thinks the world of "Aunt Alison" or "my Alison" as she calls her. Avery was attached to her hip this past weekend. There is nothing more exciting to her than when Alison comes to visit.

Saturday night all of us girls (and a couple of the guys) got together and had a farewell dinner for Alison. It was great to get together with everyone, but quite bittersweet at the same time. We are all truly living in different parts of the world these days. Four of us are still in the same state but different cities, one is in India (we missed you like crazy the other night Ariel) and now one in California. The older we get it seems the further apart we live, but one thing I know for sure is that our bond, our friendship only grows stronger. The picture below is of all of us girls and all of our baby girls on Saturday night.
