We are heading to the beach in a few weeks and I really would like to get a few silhouette pictures of the kids on the beach at sunset. I have never attempted this before so I decided I better start practicing. The other night Avery and I held our hands up high in the evening sky and I shot away. They were not too bad, but not as crisp as I would like for them to be...maybe I should do it a little earlier in the evening, maybe I should use a tripod, maybe bring my ISO down a little (I think it was set to 1600 for these)...anyone out there have any tips?

My suggestion for crisping up the pic is to use GOOGLE...when you figure it out make sure you share..Tara's been wanting a silhouette of Jordan.
I don't have a clue. However, when you successfully complete this task you will have to fill me in so that I will know how.
