Our 4th of July weekend was so busy, but we sure had a lot of fun! Saturday morning, the kids and I headed over to White Mills Days to ride in the parade. Jason's Uncle Dwight is running for Magistrate and asked if we would ride on his float and throw out candy. Avery loved every minute of it, but Oaks was being awful shy that morning and wouldn't talk to a soul. He just sat in Aunt Jen's lap and never moved! Then of course after the parade we had to go play games, socialize, and get our chicken dinner. Jason and a huge group of people decided to do a 6 hour float down the river that afternoon and being that I am 9 months pregnant I didn't go. Instead, the kids and I went to Jason's sisters house for a cookout/swim party. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and the new friends they made. That evening once everyone got off the river we had a pot luck and shot off fireworks at our house. The next day we spent the evening at Jason's mom and dad's for Papaw's and cousin Chandler's birthday. The kids put a concert on for us and kept us entertained all evening! It was a great weekend and great to spend so much time with Jason's family! Even though we all live so close to each other it seems like we never see them. I can honestly say I was blessed with AMAZING in-laws (and I am not just saying that because they read my blog!) Jason and I both are truly bless to have the families that we do! Enjoy the pictures of our fun filled weekend and God Bless America!!!!
