Baby Update

It's all a waiting game now! Here I am at 39.5 weeks pregnant...wow, where did the last 9 months go?!?! It is a little bittersweet. Although I cannot wait to meet "little bit," I am also a little sad that this pregnancy is coming to an end. Then again, I am pretty ready to have this baby and I have my moments when it feels like I am going to be pregnant FOREVER!! I had my weekly doctor's appointment today and I am also a little sad to report that there has been no change since my last visit. I am still at 2cm and only 50% effaced. Then again, this is a good thing since Dr. Nether's informed me that he is flying to Atlanta tonight and won't be back until tomorrow, but then he is off on Wednesday. So he gave me very strict orders to not go into labor until Thursday! And like I have said before, I have never had a baby early yet, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't start a new trend this time! My goal is to go into labor on my own, but Dr. Nether's also informed me today that he would not let me go any longer than a week overdue. So just in case I don't go into labor on my own I am officially scheduled for an induction on the 22nd. Please pray that I go into labor before then...if I am still pregnant by next Thursday I may be an emotional mess! ;)
