Rollin' on the River

What a wonderful and peaceful weekend we had! Friday night we hung around the house and played with the kiddo's. Saturday afternoon Jason and I sent the kids to his mom and dad's and had a date to celebrate our anniversary. On Sunday, Jared, Katie, Jason and I floated the river. The weather was beautiful and we had so much fun. We even brought flashlights so we could go into a cave that is right on the river. Now, you have to know that I was not about to take my camera along so luckily my sister took her point and shoot and we got some fun photo's of the day.

Jason and I...and yes he LOVES that hat...me, not so much, but then again he could probably wear anything and I would still think he is handsome! Just call him Panama Jack!

The entrance to the cave

Stalactites...and I know this because I once was a cave guide and because I paid attention in school! :) Here is one to remember...stalactites hold tight to the ceiling, stalagmites might gown up to touch the ceiling. Okay enough geography for today.

Katie and I in the cave!

The way to the lake...guess we were headed in the right direction. This wall and sign were one of the many sights we saw on our way down the river.

Seven Year's!

I can't believe seven year's ago today I was walking down the aisle and saying "I Do" to the man of my dreams! It hasn't always been the easiest seven years, but it has been a wonderful seven years. I still can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this man, my stomach still does flip when he holds my hand, I melt every time I hear him say "I Love You," and we won't even talk about what happens when he kisses me! :) He is the love of my life! Through the years our love has only grown stronger, through building our home, bringing two beautiful children into this world, through all the moments we have shared, through all the laughter, tears, and smiles. Jason knows my soul, knows my dream's, and knows me in the most honest and intimate way anyone possibly could. Seven year's ago I married my best friend and I look forward to what the rest of our lives have in store for us. I am so blessed that God put Jason in my live.
Jason, Happy Anniversary and I LOVE you!

Happy Father's Day

I always knew when I first met Jason that he was going to be a wonderful father, but I can honestly say that he is even more wonderful than I could of ever imagine. The love he has for his children, the joy he has when teaching them something new, the caring, strong arms that hold his babies when they are hurt, sad, or just need a daddy moment, the playful spirit he has when they wrestle and tumble together, the way he hugs, kisses and says I love you are only a part of the reason he is such a great daddy. We thank God for him everyday!

We LOVE you! ~Avery, Oakley and Mommy

(I took this last year at the beach)

To my own Dad, Thanks for always being there, for all the long talks, for always knowing what to say, for the music, for being a wonderful Papa to my babies, for all the love and the hugs and the kisses! I LOVE you!

Happy Birthday Katie!

Happy Birthday to my little sister! Thanks for always being such a big part of my life. Thanks for sharing so many memories. Thanks for being my best friend. Thanks for always being the one I can call. Thanks for sharing so much with me. Thanks for knowing the secrets of my soul. If their is one thing in this world that I am so thankful for it would be my sister and brother. I could not imagine life with out them. The memories I have of us growing up are priceless. I thank God everyday that I was not an only child. Katie, Daniel and I share a bond that only siblings could share. We have fun together, we look out and protect one another, we laugh together, we love each other with all our hearts, and we are the best of friends. Because of them, I always knew I wanted more than one child. Not to mention, my children could not have a better Aunt and Uncle! So, here's to you Kat...happy birthday, I LOVE you and God Bless!

Birthday Dinner

How ironic is it that my brother Daniel's birthday is May 27, a week later on June 6 is my birthday and a week after that on June 14 is my sister Katie's birthday. Then I go and marry a boy who's birthday is June 4. So every year around this time my parents take us all out to eat. Now for those of you who know my family know that we LOVE all kinds of cuisine, but one of our favorites would have to be Cajun food. There is nothing better than boiled crawfish straight from New Orleans. However, if your not going to be in Louisiana any time soon there is this great little place called Joe's OK Bayou. That is where we spent our Friday night stuffing ourselves with crawfish, oysters, shrimp, foglegs, gator bites, and lots of great Cajun sides.

Happy B-day to Jason! Happy B-day to Me!

This past weekend was full of Birthday fun! Jason turned 32 on June 4 and I turned 29 on June 6. I know, I know I don't look a day over 21, but it is true, I am leaving the 20's behind and heading into the 30's. This is the 12th year that Jason and I have had our Birthday Bash. We get all of our friends together and head to the creek for a weekend of camping, swimming and eating. It is such a good time and Jason and Timmy love to have an excuse to cook a pig! It is also fun to get to caught up with old friends and did I mention before how much my kids LOVE camping at the creek? Avery and Oakley has such an awesome time, but they were sure wore out when we got home on Sunday. Anyhow, happy belated Birthday to my lovely husband and me too!

Sparkler's are so much fun!

Oakley and Easton playing with the dump trucks. Oakley LOVES Easton. When we woke up Friday morning and Easton was already there (Timmy and him showed up around 6 to help Jason cook the pig) Oakley was so excited. He just kept yelling Easton's name, saying YAY and clapping his hands. It was too cute!

Me and my babies...two VERY tired babies!

The only picture I have of Jason and I this weekend...don't ask about the hairy guy! ;)

Avery & Oaks Summer Photo Session

Tonight I did an quick photo session of Avery and Oakley and the pictures turned out GREAT! I just decided to do it on a whim and it could of not gone more perfect. Those of you that know me well, know that I completely stress out when I take my own kids pictures. Jason had swore to never help me again because I get so stressed and upset. (He did help me tonight and in fact it was his idea to go do it!) It's funny because I have no worries when taking other peoples pictures. Anyhow, I had been wanting to get some really good pictures of them together that I can blow up really big and put in my hallway. I think I got them tonight! I have so many favorites I don't know how I will pick which ones! I had a hard enough time narrowing down the ones I wanted to put with this post.

I also did some great family pictures this past weekend of the Do Family. As soon as I have them edited I will post of few of those.
