January in Pictures

Sisters and a brother!  I sure love these three!!

 Superheros!

 Date night with my honey!

 Our little cowgirl!

Nothing like a good cup of joe on a cold day...as long as it's French Vanilla. :)  I never have been much of a coffee drinker.

Reading a book with Daddy.

Friday night, time to put your feet up for the weekend!  At least for a few moments. Our weekends are always so busy!!

These two play so good together when they want to.  Look at that dirty little face...wish I could say that my kids faces were always clean, but that's not the case around here.  For the record, I did wipe it off after I took the picture.  :)

We have had some beautiful blue skies this January.
More of the daffodils we have popping up.

Point & Shoot Pictures

I have a little point and shoot camera that I keep in my purse for moments when I don't have my good camera with me. I hardly ever think to download the pictures off of it, but tonight I finally did. The quality of these pictures are not the best, but it is fun to look back and see what was on there. Here are the last 6 months from my point and shoot view.
Oaks with all the girls.

Cheering at Central's Football game.

Lakelyn picking out a pumkin.

Daddy helping Avery and Oaks decide.

Running in the hay maze.

Family River trips are the best!

Miss Lakelyn loves to sit in her rocking chair and read!

I was in San Diego in October on business.  Oh how I love California weather in the fall!  This was taken while we were eating lunch one afternoon.

This was a little stream that ran between several shops where we did quite a bit of browsing and shopping.

The rooftop pool in our Hotel.

Avery and Oaks meditating like Rafiki, the baboon, from Lion King!

Avery & Oaks both rode the mechanical bull at the rodeo.  Every time the bull would turn where Oakley couldn't see us he would scream "let me OFF," but then once he would see us again he would get this huge grin on his face!  He talked about riding that bull FOREVER!!  He was so proud!

Hanging out with Papaw in the barnyard at the rodeo.  Lakelyn loved all the animals.  As a side note, my friend Wendy just happen to be in the background of this picture and I had no idea she was even there at the time! How crazy is that!

Billy reading the Christmas Story to the kids at church.  Lakelyn threw a fit because she was not down there with them.  I let her go and she walked all the way down front and sat in Avery's lap just to be with all the rest of the kids!

Project 52: Week 2

"Come to the water
You who thirst
And you'll thirst no more"
~Love is Here, Tenth Avenue North

Project 52: Week 1

52 photos for 52 weeks. My goal is to find creativity in everyday things, whether it is nature, my kiddo's, household items...anything really. I just thought this would be a fun project to do throughout the year. My first week is a week behind, but here we go!
Playing her DS to pass the time on a cold winter day.

Christmas Dinner with Friends

Christmas night we always go to my parents house and have Christmas Dinner with several close family friends. This is one of my favorite Christmas traditions. We have been getting together since I was a little girl. I hope we are always able to continue this tradition!

“The best things in life come in threes, like friends, dreams, and memories.”

Livi and her baby!

Time to sing happy birthday!

"Pals"...and Lisa is ready for bed!

The whole gang.

I LOVE this picture!  It makes me smile!  Thanks Livi!!

Fathers and Sons

These guys go way back!

Two beautiful ladies, Carol and Nancy.  Carol was my teacher at Hillside Home School for Kindergarten and First Grade.  She taught 7 of us at her house.  I have the most amazing memories from that time in my life!

Ariel with her boys!

Playing with a new toy he got during our Dirty Santa game.  Thanks to Ariel and Aaron for bringing a gift a little boy would love!

Two of the sweetest people I know!

Leg wrestling...need I say more!

Avery and Oaks had to try it out too!

Christmas Breakfast at Nana's & Papaw's

One of the best things about Christmas Day is going back to Nana and Papaw's for breakfast! The food is always so good and the kids have so much fun opening more presents!

Kyle and Chandler teaching our kids how to do the sprinkler!

After dancing Avery decided she needed to finish off the rest of the eggs.

Oaks loves his new "shootin' game" for the Wii!

Lakelyn beating up Papaw.
