Merry Christmas!

Wishing all our family and friends a very Merry Christmas and a blessed 2012!!

Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy finally got to make an appearance at our house last month!  Avery had been waiting NOT so patiently for one of her teeth to fall out.  Everyone of her friends had already lost a tooth and she was not happy that she hadn't.  Finally she got a loose tooth, but it took forever for it to get loose enough to come out...I am talking months!  When it got to the point that it was barely hanging in there she let Jason pulled it right out.  I have never in my life seen such an excited little girl.  She jumped up and down and screamed forever!  Jason and I couldn't quit laughing at all of her excitement.  It was one of those moments that reminds you how wonderful it is to be a parent!
A few weeks later she lost the other bottom front tooth too!

Laetitia's Senior Pictures

I am so glad I had the opportunity to take this beautiful lady's pictures! We had a lot of fun and you are always guaranteed a good laugh when you are with her and her family!  Enjoy the rest of your senior year and what life has in store for you!

November in Pictures

My Mom made these matching dresses for the girls, the pants for Oaks and even a little matching doll dress for Avery's American Doll.  As you can see, poor Pocahontas recently broke her leg and needed a purple cast to help it heal. ;)

This is what we found stitched inside!

The frost one beautiful, crisp fall morning.  Everything was covered in sparkles that morning!

I would cry too if I woke up with my hair looking like that every morning and dried snot around my nose! Poor Baby!

This is how I find Oaks running around the house half the time...one sock on and one sock off.

I got home from work one afternoon and Oaks comes running up the stairs like this.  His big sister had held him captive and was practicing her highlighting skills!

The very next moment I turned around and Lakelyn was running out of the bathroom with this!  Jason and I just never know what the day has in store for us around here!  And yes, that is a black eye Lakelyn is sporting.  She fell at daycare and hit the corner of the bookshelf.

Avery - 6 going on 16

I always try to take the kids pictures around their birthday, but being that Avery's is December 25 it get's a little hectic. Not to mention it is cold outside and I would much rather have outdoor pictures with all nature light. So this year we decided to do an impromptu photo shoot one October Sunday afternoon. We literally took these in 15 minutes. The lighting was perfect and Avery was a little model! I can't believe I am about to have a 7 year old and I can't believe how grow up she looks in the pictures! Sometimes I just want to look at her and say please stop growing up so fast...let me keep you little just a little longer! However, I am sure she would have none of that. Isn't it funny how fast we want to go up where we were young?  If only time could slow down now!!

Halloween

We had so much fun this Halloween! Of course Avery and Oaks had a blast, but Lakelyn loved it just as much. She would not even let us hold her pumpkin for her. If we tried she would scream! There was no way she was letting go of that candy. At one point she couldn't even walk with it because it was so heavy, but she still refused to give it up! She is lot like her big brother when it come to having a sweet tooth!

"Helping" carve the pumpkins in her pj's.

All three kids pumpkins...Avery and Oaks are going to have to start carving their own if they keep picking the hard ones!!  The wolf and spider took Jason forever!

Our little ladybug!  Avery wore this costume when she was about two.  It has been so cute on both of my girls! (After I took the picture I realized that I had Lakelyn's wings on upside down!)

Avery told us last year that she wanted to be a vampire for Halloween.  I thought she might change her mind, but she stuck to it.  Of course it even had to be one with blood running out of it mouth.

Last year Oaks had to be Darth Vader and this year Luke Skywalker.  He absolutely loves Star Wars!
The best shot I could get with all 3 kids!  Sometimes I wonder if I will ever get a good picture of all three of them!  Maybe I can get one before they are teenagers!

We are seriously going to have to hide all the candy!  Every time I turn around I find Lakelyn with a sucker stuck in her mouth!!

Kaitlynne Rose's Senior Pictures

This is our beautiful niece, Kaitlynne...or as my kids call her "Sissy." I cannot believe she is a senior in high school! When Jason and I started dating she was 3 years old...where does the time go?

Kaitlynne, I hope you have a blast the rest of your senior year!  Follow you heart and may the Lord lead your way!  I know your future has great things in store for you!  We LOVE you!

"OH!
THE PLACES YOU'LL GO!

You'll be on your way up!
You'll be seeing great sights!
You'll join the high fliers
who soar to high heights."

Oakley's 4th Brithday Party

This year for Oakley's birthday we had a Sweet Shoppe theme. If there is one thing that Oaks loves, it is candy. He has such a sweet tooth so we thought a party full of candy was right up his ally. I think he was on a sugar high for days!!

Lakelyn sure loves her Uncle Goose!

Oakley's favorite present of the day...buffalo!  Good job Nana and Papaw!

Blowing out the candles!!  Can you tell it was a hot, steamy August day?  He was a little sweaty!

Did I mention he likes Buffalo's?  haha!  He still sleeps with them every night...thankfully they do not eat every meal with us.  ;)

Oakley and Evan!  These guys are best buds!
