Zoo Field Trip

Before school was out I went with Avery and her class to the zoo.  I took Oaks with us and we spent the day with Jayna, Eli and Camden.  Eli is in Avery's class and they have become best friends this year...they tell us that they are each others boyfriend and girlfriend.  And she is only six...what am I going to do when she is 16!!  It was such a fun day and I am so glad that we got to hang out with Jayna and her cute boys!

Pinkalicious

When Avery was about two and half her favorite book became Pinkalicious.  We had to read it every night before bed and sometimes several times during the day.  It wasn't long before she had the whole book memorized and she would "read" it to me.  It is still one of her all time favorite books, so when Lisa called and wanted to know if we wanted to get tickets to see Pinkalicious at Derby Dinner Playhouse I knew Avery would love it.  It was such a cute play and Avery and Allie had a blast!  I look forward to taking the girls back!

Avery stopped this "Star" on his way off stage and asked if they could take a picture with him.  As a side note, this star was not part of the Pinkalicious play, he did the intro.
