The Good Life

So much for a blizzard... It's hard to believe my Project 52 has come to an end. Thinking I may attempt a Project 365 in the coming year...a picture a day maybe a little hard to keep up with, but I am gonna try! Happy 2013!

Avery & Oaks playing in what little snow we did get.  I am so ready for a good snow!!

Christmas day is one busy day for us! We wake up and see what Santa has brought then we head to Papaw and Nana's for breakfast and Christmas with them. That afternoon we go over to Jason's sisters house for Christmas with the Straders and then that evening we go to my Mom and Dad's for Christmas with them. It is busy, but it is so much fun. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family. I wouldn't have it any other way!  Christmas Morning at Nana & Papaw's The Grand-kids  Papaw & Nana had a scavenger hunt set up for Avery's present!  At the end was her new bike! Oaks & Lakelyn both love their new Inno Tabs that Papaw & Nana got them!  Before we went to Casey & Jen's for the Strader Christmas, Avery and Oaks took turns riding their new 4-wheeler. I so love Christmas morning! The excitement, the wonder, the magic, it's all so wonderful! Nothing beats the kids excitement! The first look.  Avery looks a little concerned!  LOL! Showing me what she got in her stocking.  Have you ever seen hair like that?!  It's like this every morning when she wakes up! Trying out her new perfume. He was so excited about his new tie. My little wildcat! Avery loves her new Sperry's Santa brought! Lakelyn showing off her new book. And they finally found their big present from Santa!  Talk about two excited kids! She is ready to ride! Avery insist on opening her birthday present right after she is finished opening Santa presents.  She was so excited to get a Club Tabby gift card!!  She can't wait to go!

It was so wonderful to get to spend Christmas Eve at my Mamaw's. You can always count on lots of good food, lots of laughter, and lots of kiddo's running around!  I love having a big family!  My only wish is that I got to see them all more often. Avery, Emily & Sammy Beth Jessie, Katie and I Jackie with her youngest, Abby. Jeff and his beautiful family!  Lemmie is three, Emma is two, Layton is 1 and Elli is 2 months.  They sure have their hands full! Lakelyn loved holding her new cousin Elli!  She LOVES babies!
