Little Lakelyn is doing great! We could not of asked for a more content baby! She rarely ever cries and if she does it is because she is hungry! She has been an awesome nurser since the first moment she latched on. She eats about every 3 hours during the day and only wakes up to eat once during the night!! This is such a blessing!! She is also very alert and has been since birth. She will stay awake for a couple hours at a time and just look around like she is figuring everything out! There sure is a lot for her to take in at our house with her wild big sister and brother running around!
Avery and Oakley are both doing great with their little sister! They love to hold her and give her kisses. Avery will even sing lullaby's to her and she lays in the floor with her and talks to her all the time. However, don't be fooled...we have definitely been going through an adjustment phase! Luckily they have not taken it out on Lakelyn, but both of them have been acting out a little more than normal. Avery has been a little less patient and A LOT louder than normal. Oaks has been getting into things that he has NEVER messed with before and is back to not sleeping through the night again. Jason has spent several nights in the last few weeks sleeping with Oakley in his bed! But what can I say, all this is to be expected and with a little time this too shall pass. Jason and I have just been making sure we try to spend a little extra time with Avery and Oakley, give them LOTS of hugs and kisses, and tell them how much we love them and how special they are to us!
Here are a few more of my favorite pics from the hospital. Enjoy!
