I cannot believe my little girl is starting Kindergarten!!! Where in the world have the past five years gone?!?!? I must admit that it was a little bittersweet for me. I am so excited for all the great things she is going to learn, but I also feel like I am sending her out in the real word and she is so little!!!
Yesterday was Avery's first day and it went great! I owe part of this to Kinder Camp. Last week Avery went to school for a half day to meet her teacher and to learn all about Kindergarten. She was really excited, but when we got there she realized that she didn't know anyone and everything was brand new...needless to say they had to pull her off of me crying! It was terrible! Of course I am a little emotional these days too so it was really hard! I knew she would be okay once they got started with their day, but I still couldn't help but cry all the way home after that!
As I assumed she DID have a great day and couldn't wait for her first day this week. She LOVES it!! The teacher even sent a note home saying she acts more like a first grader than a Kindergartner! Of course she loved that - you know she always wants to be older than she really is! haha! :) Anyhow, I pray that this excitement about school continues through college!!

The first day of Kindergarten is so much fun. Avery looked so cute! She's definetly off to a better start than Easton was on his first day if you can remember back. Two totally different notes sent home. Ha Ha
I adore her little Back to School outfit! Too cute!
Avery looked adorable. I'm sure she will continue to love Kindgarten and will continue to love learning her whole life.
She's so pretty!!!
Thanks for the tips the other day. I downloaded some actions you mentioned and have played a little with them. I think I'm going to like them. Thanks for making time to chat!!
