Avery had a lot of fun playing All-Star softball this summer and made lots of new friends! She was so excited when she made the team and we were so proud of her. The first tournament of the summer was the state tournament in Bowling Green. There ended up being only one other 6U team in the tournament so we had to play the same team 3 times. They beat us the first time, we beat them the 2nd time and then they ended up beating us in the last game by one run. It was too bad they didn't win, but the girls played great. That ended up being the only 6 and under team we played all season. It was hard to find any 6U tournaments for the girls so we wound of playing in several 8U. Our little All-Stars always held their own against the bigger girls and played great all season! Not to mention, Avery loved getting the trophies!!

Avery is so cute in these pictures. And she's going to be a great softball player. Lots of hard work and sweat but it will be worth it.
