18 | 365 {resolutions}

One of my resolutions is to be more present in the lives of those that matter most to me.  I want to enjoy every moment and make the most of the time we have together.  This past year I read the book "Hands Free Mama" and it changed my life and my outlook on parenting.  We are in such a crazy time in our lives.  The kids are old enough to participate in activities, but not old enough that we don't have to be there and take them.  We run ALL THE TIME!  Down time is something we rarely have.  However, in the midst of the chaos I am going to strive to slow down, listen, hug, laugh, yell less, and remember that they are only this little once.

And for my mommy friends out there, if you haven't read "Hands Free Momma" by Rachel Macy Stafford or follow her blog, I highly recommend it.
